A vertical garden, like GreenStalk, stacks multiple contained garden beds on top of each other. Some methods use hydroponics while others use soil.

A vertical garden is a method of gardening where multiple contained garden beds are stacked on top of each other. These can form freestanding pillars or flat surfaces placed against a wall or fence. It is a method of increasing yield in a limited space as well as a method of raising garden beds for easier access beyond what is traditionally seen with a raised garden bed.

Some vertical gardening systems use hydroponics while others, like GreenStalk, use soil.
