A garden is a planned space used to grow plants for food, display, or enjoyment. When made available for public display it may be referred to as a botanical garden.
When possible, cultivate the smallest possible land area by planning for small-scale and energy-efficient intensive systems rather than large-scale and energy-consuming extensive systems.[1]
