Taco seasoning is a blend of spices that are most commonly used for flavoring taco meat. While there is no one universal recipie for taco seasoning, the spices often used include chili powder, cumin, and oregano.
Recipie
Taco seasoning will keep for upto one year when stored in an air-tight container kept in a cool and dry place.[1]
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried onion or onion powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Steps:
- Add all the spices to a mason jar.
- Close the mason jar and shake until fully combined.
- Store in an air-tight container in a cool dry place for up to 1 year.
