Propane gas is flammable and a common source of fuel for cooking and heating. It is also used as a refrigerant in air conditioners.

Propane (C3H8) is a flammable hydrocarbon extracted from natural gas or petroleum and commonly used as a fuel and as an air conditioner refrigerant. At room temperature and pressure it is in a gas phase.
