Gopher

A gopher is a common name for any of the species of burrowing rodents in the family Geomyidae. Gophers are herbivores and eat 60 percent of their body weight in vegetation a day, eating roots and fleshy parts of plants and are able to quickly cause damage to gardens and lawns. Using gopher wire correctly in the soil can prevent or minimize damage caused by gophers.
