Phosphorus is an element and an important mineral to health. It is naturally concentrated in phosphate rocks.

Phosphorus (abbreviated as P) is an element. The mineral that makes up one percent of a person's total body weight and is the second most abundant mineral in the body. It is present in every cell of the body with most of the phosphorus in the body is found in the bones and teeth.[1]
