Nylon

Nylon is a family of plastics made from specific polymers developed in the 1930s by DuPont an alternative to silk.[1] The polymers can be mixed with various substances to achieve different variations in properties which provides nylon with a variety of uses, such as fibers made into cloth and ropes, films, or rigid shaped such as a toothbrush handle.
