Cimex lectularius, also called a bed bug, is an insect species that primarily feed on human blood, primarily at night. They are found all over the world in almost every area colonized by humans. Bed bug bites may range from no visible effects to blisters and rashes.

Mattress easements prevent bed bugs from hiding inside sleeping bed mattresses and make infestation easier to see.
